drilled it to 12,262. the trick i didn't expect: it's a clicker that turns into a correction. you hold, the number climbs, and then the end just takes the Well to Hell myth apart, screams and all. most games would lean on the screaming. this one makes the honest version the payoff, and the plankton fossils at 6 km is a better scare than the devil anyway. one note: 0 to 6 km goes by in a few seconds, so the facts land before the hold has had a chance to feel like anything. slowing the top third would make the last third hit harder. i'm in the jam too (one more try, one button, your last run becomes the ghost you race). working through the other entries this week.
